A Meaningful Partnership Between NATİV and TOG
Founded in 2025, the Nigar-Ali Tiryakioğlu Foundation for Education, Science, and Health (NATİV) launched its first partnership with the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG). The project aims to touch the lives of young people, enhance their competencies, and contribute to their education and personal development.
Established by the Tiryakioğlu Family to support youth education, encourage scientific research, foster healthier generations, strengthen social equality, and leave behind a cleaner and more livable world for future generations, NATİV began its journey with a meaningful initiative.
Through this partnership with TOG, the project seeks to support young people not only academically, but also emotionally, socially, and professionally.
We Will Continue Expanding Our Support for Young People
Speaking at the signing ceremony, NATİV Founder and Board Member Hülya Tiryakioğlu Yüksel said:
“We grew up with our parents’ guidance: ‘Be honest and good people, and whatever you do, always do your very best.’ Our parents taught us — through their own lives — that learning, producing, sharing, and contributing value to society, our country, and the world is one of the most honorable ways to live. Being the children of parents who carried such values has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. As the children of Nigar and Ali Tiryakioğlu, we founded the Nigar-Ali Tiryakioğlu Foundation to honor their names in the way they would have wished and to grow and strengthen the values they passed on to us within an institutional framework; to contribute to the world, create value, and remain committed to goodness by sharing all that we have, both materially and spiritually.”
Yüksel emphasized that the Tiryakioğlu Family has always recognized the importance of education in both individual and social development and has consistently supported young people whenever possible. She noted that NATİV will enable these efforts to continue within a more institutional and far-reaching structure.
She continued:
“We are gathered here today to announce an important collaboration launched to support the education of our young people. As NATİV, we are partnering with the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) on a meaningful initiative to help create a better future for students across Türkiye. Through this collaboration, we aim to support university students not only in their education, but also in their journeys of self-realization. We are truly excited and hopeful about this partnership with TOG.”
A Message of Support from TOG
Seçkin Karataş, General Manager of the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG), stated:
“For 23 years, as TOG, we have believed that every investment made in the potential of young people transforms not only individuals, but society as a whole. With this belief, we create opportunities for young people to strengthen their sense of social responsibility, access equal opportunities, and develop in multiple dimensions. Our valuable collaboration with NATİV goes beyond providing scholarships; it also aims to enhance young people’s communication skills, competencies, and employability. TOG’s vision is to empower young people not only as the citizens of today, but also as the builders of a fair, inclusive, and sustainable society of tomorrow. Through this collaboration, we are taking another step toward that vision.”
Needs of Young People is identified
The scope of the project was determined based on the findings of the “Needs Assessment of University Students” research conducted jointly by TOG and KONDA. The study revealed that; 68% of young people need scholarship support, 45% require psychological support, 43% need internship opportunities, and 24% seek mentorship support.
In line with these findings, the project was designed to support young people not only economically, but also emotionally, socially, and professionally. In addition to scholarships, the initiative aims to strengthen young people’s self-confidence, professional competencies, and social awareness through training programs, mentorship, and internship opportunities — helping them grow into active, conscious, and productive individuals.
Scholarship and Educational Support
In the first phase of the project, scholarship support will be provided to 24 university students, the majority of whom are female students studying in engineering faculties.
Within the scope of the project, NATİV will also provide specialized training programs developed with experts and shaped according to feedback from TOG volunteers. These trainings will cover areas such as; Stress and Emotion Management, Psychological Resilience, Self-Confidence and Self-Awareness Development, Effective Communication and Feedback, Teamwork and Team Dynamics, Negotiation Skills and Conflict Management, 21st Century Competencies for the Future of Work, Scholars will also benefit from mentorship and internship opportunities through the NATİV Mentorship Program. During mentor-mentee meetings, Tiryaki Agro executives will guide young people on building successful career journeys.
A Responsibility to Humanity and Our Country
NATİV was established by the Tiryakioğlu Family in 2024 to support educational initiatives, encourage scientific research, strengthen social equality, and contribute to building a more conscious society in every aspect. Guided by the vision of “contributing at the highest level to the development of individuals and young people through social, cultural, and scientific activities, helping them realize their potential, and working toward a more just, equal, healthy, and sustainable society,” the Foundation defines its mission as: “Providing young people with diverse educational opportunities that maximize their potential, developing development programs grounded in scientific thinking, and creating volunteer-based projects that contribute to social equality and sustainable development goals.” The Foundation shapes its projects in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to produce lasting solutions. Believing that “education is the cornerstone of both individual and societal development,” NATİV seeks to expand access to knowledge and strengthen young people’s ability to think, create, and produce through scholarships, research support, and educational projects. Guided by the belief that health is fundamental to a life worthy of human dignity, the Foundation also develops projects that support both physical and mental well-being, helping individuals lead healthier and higher-quality lives. Advocating for equal opportunities regardless of gender, social, or economic differences, NATİV supports projects that empower disadvantaged individuals and communities, contributing to the construction of a more equitable future.
